Curious how the day of giving turned out? As usual, benevolence and compassion were overwhelming. We wanted to give you a quick update on the success of GivingTuesdayNow.
We were able to impact 3 global mission areas where we serve.
HOME OFFICE | In Kokomo, IN over three skids of food and dry goods were donated to the Emmaus Mission Center Food Pantry in Logansport, IN, an area hit hardest by the COVID-19 virus. If you know of someone in need in the Cass County area that would benefit from the services of the Emmaus Mission Center’s Food Pantry, visit http://logan-emmaus.org/Food_Pantry.html. They currently serve over six hundred families a month.
JAMAICA | Our church partners have ongoing food delivery programs and outreach ministries. We will be sending them down funds to help support multiple churches. Watch our social media or emails for photos soon! Your compassionate donations will feed a lot of families in the Highgate area where our missionaries and staff are currently serving.
BELIZE | Before the day of giving even started, we had partnered with one of the many churches we have worked with for over 15 years, Kingdom Life Community Church in Belize. Pastors Jimmi & Sandra Lee Jones were able to deliver food to 17 families. “All the families were so thankful and we were so excited to be God’s Messengers of love. Thanks to CSI and the donors, ” Jimmi & Sandra Lee.
If you would like to collect food items to deliver to a community in need, we would be happy to assist! Supporting others during this season is what we are called to do!
