We are all feeling it. Everyone in one way or another has had their lives impacted by this pandemic. Missions and ministry are not exempt from these challenging times. Michelle and I are doing our best under the circumstances. We have been very busy reaching out and supporting our ministry partners in creative ways, in efforts to come alongside the amazing work they each do unto the Lord. Many of you have helped us in these efforts, and we thank each of you for that. We have an amazing group of people who have come alongside us in our ministry. We are so thankful for each and every one of you.

Because of you, we were able to bless Mountain Mission, Wears Valley Ranch, and Shiloh Children’s Home with an amazing Easter outreach. It proved to be very effective and timely due to each of them being on lockdown. We received great feedback from this.

Recently our ministry participated in the GivingTuesdayNow campaign. We were able to bless a local ministry with food to help in their community, as well as churches in Belize and Jamaica. One thing we love about serving with CSI Ministries is the commitment to get the resources directly to the need. 100% of the monies given for that campaign were dispersed to those in need.

Right before the shutdown happened in this country, we were able to complete our bunk bed build initiative down in the Appalachian area with the Freeda Harris Center. This effort will be a blessing for ministry for years to come.

We can’t say enough about the group of men who served with Michelle & I at Shiloh Children’s Home in Missouri. So many great conversations and powerful devotion times. Working alongside the children was very memorable, not to mention rewarding.

We see great power in our ministry! Sure, we do a lot of projects and outreaches for people, but it is truly about the lives that are touched by these efforts. In the past 6 months, we have had the privilege of hearing the stories of life change from people who have participated on our mission trips. There is nothing better than watching people discover the joy of serving in the name of Jesus! So many people who were idle in their faith or with no faith at all, have experienced life change. Being able to be a small part of this process will always be our passion.

Personally, we have so enjoyed having the closeness of our family as we have been blessed to spend so much time together, with our two boys. Something Michelle and I cherish. It has also reminded us of the importance of prayer, and trusting that “God’s Got This.” We find ourselves saying, “I don’t want normal again.” Sure, certain things have to ramp back up, but we are hoping not to forget this lesson on having to totally rely on Him.

We have been working with our ministry partners on how we can assist them, and planning for the future when we will be able to assemble our ministry teams together and continue that part of our ministry. In the meantime, we will continue to listen and serve in creative ways.

We continue to covet your prayers and financial support. Without the generous gifts of so many of you, we could not do what we do.

If you are not currently a monthly supporter of our ministry, we would love to share with you the amazing journey God has set before us, and how your gifts can make a kingdom impact. To explore ways to support our efforts as missionaries, please go to csiministries.net

We, like you, find ourselves in challenging times, with many uncertainties about things. We do however rest assured in the knowledge that our Lord has His hand on our lives, and that’s something to be very thankful for.
