A faithful member of Grace Gospel Assembly

Recommended by her church family and Pastor Asanti that has been supporting her in Baracks River, near her church in Richmond.

From the church, ” Sis. Birdie Clunis and her husband live in a dilapidated house, with conditions, that threaten her health and life daily.  During the last quarter of 2020, she fell through the floors of her wooden abode.”  According to our conversations with her via Brad Wright, she was stuck in her floor for several hours until her husband came to help her get out.

Day 1

The foundation and two walls are up!  The pit toilet is in place too.  The church family is coming alongside to help build this new home that is much safer for Sister Birdy!

Day 2

After a great start yesterday – the team was able to jump in and get this house almost complete on Day 2.  As you can see, she picked green as her color – and the ladies from the church were kind enough to feed the crew as well!

Note the bridge photo.

Day 3

Putting on the finishing touches for Sister Birdy before going up to her house to bring her down to her new home!

House Dedication

Today was a special day for Sister Birdy and her husband.  The pastor and several of her church family all surrounded the home to dedicate it, praise God for it and worship together.  The CSI Jamaica team was all there to help welcome Birdy to her new home.
