Guatemala

The churches in Guatemala are a joy to partner with! Working in the Chiquimula district alongside the Evangelica Iglesia Amigos church and pastors we learned of their vision for clean water in the impoverished village of Taco and for basic housing for several in their communities. On property acquired by the church, many of you helped make this dream of clean accessible water a reality. Churches from different parts of the world working in unity have changed a whole community! Further, the local church in Quetzaltepec, joined by a CSI team, built a new home providing a family of three generations dry, safe, and permanent housing for the first time. 

Moving forward the churches have a vision for community development helping families in education, safe housing, clean water, and basic medical care. In all of these things personal evangelism to share the love and saving grace of Jesus in word and action is paramount.
